112 Piscium holds one of the highest Flamsteed numbers within the Fishes —a constellation so vast that it claims more than a hundred entries. It is a yellow G-type star at 109 light-years, a true sibling of the Sun in colour and temperature. Its light began its journey around 1916, during the First World War, and has crossed our galactic neighbourhood almost unwitnessed.

112 Piscium lies in the northern celestial hemisphere. It is visible to the naked eye under a dark sky. Its best month of the year is October, when it culminates around midnight.

It can be seen from anywhere north of 87° S.
