Stelvia is an online shop dedicated to the sale of symbolic commemorative gifts consisting of personalised certificates that associate a name chosen by the customer with a real star identified by its coordinates and astronomical catalogue (Hipparcos). The product is a decorative and sentimental item: the chosen name does not imply ownership of the star, nor recognition by the International Astronomical Union (IAU), NASA, ESA or any other scientific authority. Stelvia does not provide official astronomical registration services.

3. Conditions of use

Access to the site is free of charge. The purchase of products requires prior acceptance of the Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy. The user undertakes to use the site diligently, not to upload illegal, offensive or discriminatory content or content that infringes third-party rights, and not to tamper with the platform or circumvent its security measures. Stelvia may suspend access for users who breach these conditions.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

All content on the site (texts, images, illustrations, code, brand, trade name, visual identity, videos and certificate templates) is owned by Stelvia or its licensors and is protected by Spanish and European intellectual and industrial property law. Reproduction, distribution, public communication or transformation without express authorisation is prohibited. Star coordinates and catalogue data come from the Hipparcos catalogue, in the public domain; images, narratives and visual compositions are original works by Stelvia.

The site may contain links to external pages (for example the Stripe payment gateway or the European online dispute resolution platform). Stelvia is not responsible for the content, privacy practices or behaviour of the linked sites. The presence of a link does not imply endorsement, partnership or sponsorship.

6. Liability and warranties

Stelvia takes reasonable steps to keep the site operational and free of viruses, but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or fault-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, Stelvia is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss arising from the use of the site. The legal warranty of conformity for products sold is governed by the Terms & Conditions.

7. Governing law and jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by Spanish law. Disputes arising from the use of the site or from consumer relations shall be brought before the courts of the consumer's domicile when residing in Spain; in other cases, before the courts that are competent under applicable law.
