Psi-2

Its story

Psi-2 Piscium is a white A-type star 154 light-years away, within the extensive and scattered figure of the Fishes. It belongs to the group of lights that trace the ribbon binding the two fish-shaped figures, in the Greco-Roman version of the myth. Its clean, modest brilliance is indispensable to recognise the outline of a constellation in which no star particularly dominates over the rest.
