Psi-3 Piscium lies among the Fishes, the zodiacal constellation where the Sun meets the spring equinox by effect of precession. It is a yellow G-type giant at 377 light-years, a faint light within a long, pale pattern that stretches just beneath Pegasus and Andromeda on northern autumn nights.

Psi 3 Piscium lies in the northern celestial hemisphere. It is visible to the naked eye under a dark sky. Its best month of the year is October, when it culminates around midnight.
