Its story
65 Piscium dwells in Pisces, the zodiacal constellation in which the ancients saw two fish bound by a cord. It is a white-yellow F-type star some 289 light-years away, hotter and more luminous than the Sun, and bears the serene poise of the mature stars in its class. Its light departed the star in a time when Louis XIV still reigned over France, and now crosses the autumn sky at a slow pace.
