22 Piscium is an orange K-type giant 748 light-years away in Pisces, that long zodiacal constellation winding across the northern autumn sky. Its light set out in the High Middle Ages, before the printing press existed. A mature body, stellarly cool yet highly luminous, its copper colour discreetly accompanies the spring equinox point.

22 Piscium lies in the northern celestial hemisphere. It is visible to the naked eye under a dark sky.
