10 Arietis is an F-type yellow-white star 159 light-years away, set inside the Ram that opens the zodiac. Slightly hotter than the Sun, its glow recalls a clear winter morning. The light arriving tonight set out when the first telegrams were still circulating in Spain and photography was beginning to fix faces onto silver plates.

10 Arietis lies in the northern celestial hemisphere. It is visible to the naked eye under a dark sky. Its best month of the year is October: the Sun sits at the opposite point of the sky and the star culminates around midnight.
