Its story

In Aries beats a white star of crisp, young light. Its glow crossed a little over five centuries before reaching us: it set out around 1505, when Christopher Columbus died in Valladolid without knowing that he had brushed against a new continent. Hotter and more massive than the Sun, it draws a cool, elegant dot on the celestial ram.
