Its story
21 Arietis is a yellow-white F-type star 167 light-years away, set in Aries, one of the oldest zodiacal figures of the heavens. It is slightly hotter than the Sun, just enough to push its colour toward a white barely tinted with gold. For the Babylonians, Aries marked the start of the astronomical year when the equinox fell within it —precession has long since carried that point away.
