Its story
64 Arietis is an orange K-type star 208 light-years away, toward the eastern end of the Ram, already brushing the feet of Taurus. Cooler and quieter than the Sun, its light left around 1818, while Europe was still redrawing borders after the Napoleonic Wars. Aries is a tiny constellation for so famous a name —three bright stars and a great deal of modest sky around them, where this giant slips by almost unnoticed.
