10 Arietis is an F-type yellow-white star 159 light-years away, set inside the Ram that opens the zodiac. Slightly hotter than the Sun, its glow recalls a clear winter morning. The light arriving tonight set out when the first telegrams were still circulating in Spain and photography was beginning to fix faces onto silver plates.
