Its story

In Corona Australis burns a B-type star, blue-white and very hot, whose brightness pulses slowly like a distant heartbeat. Its glow departed more than four centuries ago, in the days when Kepler uncovered the laws of planetary motion and the Netherlands lived their Golden Age. That same vibration —intact after centuries of travel— reaches the night now from deep in the south.
