Its light set out more than six centuries ago, when the Van Eyck brothers painted in Bruges and Portuguese navigators dared beyond Cape Bojador. It arrives now with that same serenity.

HIP 91494 lies in the southern celestial hemisphere. It is visible to the naked eye under a dark sky.
