Eta-1
Its story
η¹ Coronae Australis is a white A-type star in the small Southern Crown, a discreet arc south of Sagittarius. With η² it forms an optical pair that echoes the northern doublet of its cousin, the Northern Crown. Its crisp light travels more than three centuries before reaching the southern sky, in a region rich in dark nebulae and stellar nurseries.
