Its story
In the small Corona Australis, that discreet southern diadem, shines a yellow star similar in colour to the Sun yet older and far more luminous. Its light set out around 1730, when Bach was completing his Passions in Leipzig and the Enlightenment was raising its scaffolding. Seen from here, its golden tone blends with the distant strands of the Milky Way that frame it.
