Mu Coronae Australis is a yellow giant in the small Southern Crown, the inverted diadem hanging beneath Sagittarius. Its core hydrogen long since spent, it has swollen to eleven times the Sun's radius and is quietly drifting toward us at eighteen kilometres per second. An old light, walking to meet us.
