Its story
94 Piscium is an orange K-type star 279 light-years away, one of the many stars tracing the long ribbon of Pisces, the Fishes bound by their tails that ripple between Andromeda and the square of Pegasus. Its atmosphere, cooler than the Sun's, lends it that characteristic warm tone visible through a telescope. The light arriving now parted from the star around the mid-18th century.
