Its story
58 Piscium burns 283 light-years away, in the zodiacal constellation the Sun crosses each spring. It is a yellow G-type star, a spectral cousin of our own but far more distant and likely already in its giant phase. It lives in a quiet stretch of sky, far from the guide stars, where only patient observers trace the figure of two fish tied by a cord.
