Its story

Sigma Piscium is a blue-white B-type star lying some 434 light-years away, in the constellation of the Fishes, that zodiacal asterism shaped like a cord linking two small celestial schools. Its burning surface, far hotter than the Sun's, gives it a cool, sharp light that stands out against the quiet background of Pisces, a region of the sky usually associated with fainter stars.
