What is Revati
Revati is a white class-A star shining 173.9 light-years away in Pisces, in a region of sky that is not flashy but heavy with astronomical symbolism. Its name comes from Sanskrit and designates the last of the nakshatras, the lunar mansions of Vedic astronomy: the final mansion, associated with prosperity and the closing of a cycle. In the traditional lunar round, when the Moon enters Revati, it begins the whole count again from the start.
Where it is and when to see it
Revati lies in the northern celestial hemisphere. It is visible to the naked eye under a dark sky. Its best month of the year is October: the Sun sits at the opposite point of the sky and the star culminates around midnight.
