107 Piscium is a stellar neighbour just 25 light-years away: a K1V orange dwarf with 89% of the Sun's mass and a slightly lower temperature, around 5,260 K. It is some 6 billion years old —older than our Sun— and is approaching us: in roughly 135,800 years it will pass at only 15.4 light-years, briefly becoming one of the closest stars in our sky. Its light tonight set out during the reign of Philip IV of Spain.
