Its story
In the Charioteer's constellation, 1,073 light-years away, burns a yellow type-G star —similar in colour to the Sun, but infinitely larger— whose light departed around the 10th century, when barbarian kingdoms were consolidating the new Europe. It is a luminous giant: it has left its youth behind and swollen until it pours the light of many suns into space. Its golden tone evokes a prolonged sunset, sustained across aeons by a physics that knows no haste.
