Its story

In the luminous chariot of Auriga shines a white A-type sun whose light began its journey 277 years ago. When it set out, the Montgolfier brothers had not yet imagined the first balloon flight, and electricity was a matter for parlours. Hotter and more luminous than our Sun, its cool white recalls freshly polished ice under moonlight, a serene flash among the eternal reins of the charioteer.
