Its light set off 637 years ago: it was crossing space as Wycliffe completed in Oxford the first full translation of the Bible into English around 1388. Pulsing and old, it beats among the invisible threads that bind the two tethered fish.

HIP 117887 lies in the northern celestial hemisphere. It is visible to the naked eye under a dark sky. Its best month of the year is September: the Sun sits at the opposite point of the sky and the star culminates around midnight.
