Its story
66 Piscium is a white visual double in the Fishes, splittable only with large-aperture instruments. What looks like a single point is in fact two stellar embers orbiting one another at a separation that keeps them optically inseparable without help. Its light crosses some three hundred and fifty years to reach us: it set out when Galileo was still pointing his freshly polished telescope at Jupiter's moons.
