Variable starIts story
In Pisces shines, intermittent, a red variable star of type M, far cooler than the Sun and with a slow breathing rhythm. Its light set off 637 years ago: it was crossing space as Wycliffe completed in Oxford the first full translation of the Bible into English around 1388. Pulsing and old, it beats among the invisible threads that bind the two tethered fish.
