Its story

Among the southern plumage of Pavo, this white A-type star holds itself like a bright note about 250 light-years away. Its light began the path around 1776, while the United States Declaration of Independence was being signed and James Watt was refining his steam engine. Hotter and brighter than the Sun, its bluish-white surface radiates with elegance. Its glow reaches us now as a luminous whisper from the age of revolutions.
