Binary systemIts story
Almost a neighbour of ours, 51.8 light-years away in Taurus, spins a binary G-type system: two yellow suns bound by a millennial dance. Its light set out around 1974, when the Beatles were already a recent legend and the first interstellar messages, such as the Arecibo broadcast, were crossing space. So Sun-like that they could almost pass for siblings, they share colour, temperature and serenity.
