Its story
Taurus hosts the Hyades cluster, the Pleiades, and this A-class white at four hundred and eighty-four light-years. Its light set out around 1541, the year Michelangelo completed the Last Judgement in the Sistine Chapel. Hot and bright, it shares the most photogenic patch of the northern winter sky without demanding attention: a pure white between two famous clusters.
