120 Tauri is a Be-type star 1,553 light-years out, surrounded by a disc of gas it sheds itself as it spins at dizzying speeds. Tagged as a Gamma Cassiopeiae variable —V960 Tauri— its brightness flickers faintly with a period of about one day. A blue siren slowly losing matter through its equator, in one of the far reaches of Taurus.
