Del-2
Hot blue starIts story
Delta-2 Telescopii is a very young binary system — barely forty million years old — in the southern constellation of the Telescope. Its two components orbit in 21.7 days and together emit five thousand one hundred and twenty-nine times the Sun's light, dimmed by the interstellar dust that fills the twelve hundred light-years between us. A pair of blue giants blazing at over seventeen thousand degrees, freshly emerged from the cloud in which they formed.
