Hot blue starIts story
Within the raised pincers of Scorpius burns a blue type B star, young and far hotter than the Sun. Its light took roughly 364 years to cross the void: it set out when Newton and Leibniz contested the paternity of calculus and the great telescopes of Greenwich were barely beginning to observe the sky. It now arrives as a cold, almost metallic flash —faithful to the venomous silence that wraps the great zodiacal predator.
