Its story
28 Leonis Minoris is a K-type orange giant 424 light-years away, set inside the modest Little Lion which gathers only a handful of visible stars. Its coppery light recalls a prolonged sunset: an atmosphere cooler than the Sun's and far wider. When that photon set out, the Habsburgs still ruled half of Europe.
