Its story
23 Leonis Minoris inhabits a minor constellation, that small celestial fauna Hevelius added between the paws of Leo and the Great Bear. A white A-type star about 261 light-years away, its light left around 1765, in the heart of the European Enlightenment. It appears as a discreet white point in a region poor in bright stars, almost like a shy note between two dominant figures.
