Its story
32 Leonis Minoris is a white A-type star about 755 light-years away in a quiet, modern constellation —the Lesser Lion— drawn by Hevelius to fill the space left between Leo and the Great Bear. Its light set out in the late Middle Ages, when the echoes of the Black Death still hung over Europe and the great Gothic cathedrals were still rising. An anonymous star in a modest figure: both younger on the map than in the sky.
