Its story
This orange light set sail from Lynx in the 19th century, when Goya was painting the disasters of war and the first steam locomotives were beginning to split Europe with rails. It is a K-type star, cooler and more golden than the Sun, the colour of old copper. It dwells in a constellation so faint that Hevelius traced it only because it took the eyes of a lynx to make it out.
