Its story
27 Lyncis is a white A-type star in the most elusive constellation of the northern sky, the figure Hevelius drew believing only a lynx's eye could follow it. About 250 light-years away, its light set out when plague returned to Marseille in 1720. It shines with the crisp coldness of white stars and slowly rewards anyone who learns to read the quieter constellations.
