Its story
34 Lyncis lies about 180 light-years away within the Lynx, a constellation so faint that Hevelius gave it that name because only those with lynx eyes could spot it. It is a type-G star much like our Sun, a distant sister burning with the same yellow palette. Its light set out at the beginning of the nineteenth century.
