Its story
In Puppis also shines a yellow-white F-type star at about 140 light-years. Its light set out around 1885, while Karl Benz was patenting the first internal-combustion automobile and the first major international rail networks were being inaugurated. Hotter and brighter than the Sun, it offers an almost ivory tone, calm and energetic at once, typical of stars that live with vigor without rushing their evolution.
