Its story

Among the Twins shines an orange K-class giant whose tepid light travelled nearly six hundred years before reaching us. When that glow left its atmosphere, Constantinople had just fallen and the Italian Renaissance was drawing breath as Portuguese ships felt their way along the African coast.
