Its story

ι Piscium is a near neighbour of the Sun —only a few dozen light-years away— and, like our own star, a main-sequence dweller. Its F type makes it slightly hotter and whiter than the Sun, a luminous variant of the same archetype. It lies near the Circlet of Pisces, the asterism that symbolically ties the two zodiacal fish together.
