Its story

77 Aquarii dwells in the flow of the Water-Bearer, in a region of the autumn sky long associated with water and rain. It is an orange K-type giant lying only 134 light-years away, close enough that its mild light still reaches our eyes young. Its surface, cooler than the Sun's, bathes the space around it in amber and copper tones.
