Its story

7 Aquarii is an orange K-class star more than five hundred light-years away, lost among the faint lights of the Water Bearer. Its warm tone reveals a surface cooler than the Sun’s, most likely that of a giant well past its main-sequence youth. The region of sky around it is famed for hosting meteor showers such as the Eta and Delta Aquariids.
