Its story

5 Aquarii is a hot B-type star 650 light-years away, a blue-white flame leaning over the Water Bearer, the constellation that lends its name to an astrological age. Its surface runs at tens of thousands of degrees, far harsher than the Sun's. The region also shelters the Eta Aquariids meteor shower, linked to comet Halley.
