Its story

35 Pegasi is an orange giant of class K, near enough —just under a hundred and fifty light-years— for its light to reach us with a noticeably warm hue. It sits in the background of the famous Square of Pegasus, the great rectangle that rules northern autumn skies. The star has lived through half its existence and swollen well beyond the Sun’s size.
