Hot blue starIts story
32 Pegasi is a blue B9III giant, with a surface temperature near 9,300 K —far above the Sun's 5,777 K— and a binary companion. Its fierce radiation places it among the hottest naked-eye stars in Pegasus, despite lying 695 light-years away. The light reaching Earth tonight set out around 1331, while the medieval kingdoms of Europe were redrawing their borders.
