What is HIP 109404

In Piscis Austrinus, that quiet figure of the southern sky, shines a white star 207 light-years away. The light now reaching the human eye departed around 1819, when the Savannah was launched in Liverpool —the first steamship to cross the Atlantic. White heat, young, steady —a light that does not waver, simply burning with the honest brilliance of A-type stars.
