Its story
υ Piscis Austrini pours an orange glow from 424 light-years, in the body of the Southern Fish — one of the oldest constellations recorded by the Babylonians. A K-class giant, swollen and cool by stellar standards, it shares its patch of sky with the luminous Fomalhaut without sharing its fame. When this light left its atmosphere, the Peace of Westphalia was being signed in Europe.
