Its story

Omicron Aquarii is a variable blue-white B-type star more than 430 light-years away, in the constellation of the Water Bearer. It belongs to the so-called Be stars, suns that spin so fast they periodically eject a gas disk around their equator, causing small fluctuations in their brightness. It is a hot flame that breathes slowly, in a sky corner where Aquarius pours his invisible jar toward the south.
