It shares spectral family with the Sun, though slightly more luminous, and wavers gently around magnitude 5.16. On late summer nights Capricornus traces its quiet smile above the southern horizon of the northern hemisphere, and this distant Sun-like cousin contributes to that faint outline with its barely perceptible beat.
